Introduction
Hognose is a MudWing made in a collaboration, which occurred due to Skyscraper of the SkyWings56's blog post. In it, they pointed out how there were not even a thousand MudWing character pages, when the rest of the Pyrrhian tribes had well over a thousand character pages. This led to JustABeanWing creating a thread on the forums, where many users banded together to make this MudWing. MudWings are underappreciated. We shall make this MudWing to appreciate them.

Hognose is a BigWings, and as such, the largest of their siblings. They are an imposing dragon with a burly build; all towering height and hard muscle. They carry themself with assurance, and wear a fearless expression on their face. Their eyes are the brown of rocky cliffsides, and twice as harsh and unforgiving. So too is their voice, which is strong, powerful, and commanding. The way Hognose walks is reminiscient of a soldier's march.
This intimidating appearance that Hognose has belies the gentleness which he shows to his loved ones—namely, his siblings. Whenever he speaks to them, or speaks of them, his voice gains a note of warmth and pride, and his eyes soften with an affectionate light. Then it seems as though his strength is meant for protecting others, and his size is meant to shield them from harm.
Hognose wears few ornaments or accessories, preferring comfort over glamour. However, she does adorn herself with one piece of jewellery; a necklace wrought of copper wires, with a large pendant of polished skyfire fastened to the middle of it. Each of her siblings wear a similar necklace, but theirs are embedded with smaller pendants. All of the pendants were crafted from the same chunk of skyfire they found, and are worn to symbolize their sib group. Hognose is never seen without hers.
Personality
Hognose is a kind and caring dragon to those that they love, which is appropriate for a BigWings. They are a natural-born leader; decisive and courageous, but attentive of those around them. In troubling times, they often act as a solid rock of support and stability. This can put Hognose under pressure, as they feel the need to always appear composed and confident. However, they know that when the going gets tough, they can rely on their siblings for help. Hognose is fiercely loyal to them, and can be very overprotective.
This makes it so that to outsiders, Hognose comes off as a very hostile dragon. She is untrusting towards strangers; if they mess up, if they make one wrong move or mistake, she will forever hold a grudge against them. The continent could split and the moons could fall, but she will remember all of the ways in which you wronged her and her siblings, and she will carry her hate with her beyond death.
History
Hognose was hatched in the Kingdom of Mud as the BigWings of his clutch. One day, they found a large piece of skyfire while searching the woods near the Mud Kingdom
Relationships
Hognose spends most of her time with her siblings, and cherishes the relationships that she has with them.
Copper is the second eldest. They have a positive relationship.
Otter is the third eldest. They have a positive relationship.
Sprout is the second youngest. They have a positive relationship.
Bullfrog is the youngest. They have a positive relationship.
However, Hognose has also met several other dragons. She has varying levels of appreciation for them.
CursedScales is a NightWing that Hognose met while hunting. They exchanged a few words of introduction, but did nothing more. As such, they are merely acquainted with one another, and Hognose feels neutral towards him.

Trivia
- "Hognose" is the common name for several snake species in the family of Colubridae. They are so called "hognose" due to their characteristic feature of an upturned snout, which brings to one's mind the image of a hog's nose.
