"I have counted every star in the sky, I know every breath till your dying day. But no I am not the keeper of the stars nor the man in the moon. I am the sands counting the time left in your Hourglass until it runs out."- Hourglass
Glass is tall, thin, and lean with shades of pale icy blue scales and gold eyes and sapphire freckles speckle his arm and shoulder area. He has serrated claws for gripping the ice and a plaited pale yellow scorpion barb in addition to a small bronze nose spike and one below his ear as well. Coincidentally, he has the boxed rectangular snout of a SandWing, although his body is built like an IceWing. His stomach is a soft cream color. Meanwhile, his horns and claws are bronze, and the horns behind his ear are set back like an IceWings. A ruff of additional horns runs from his head to midway down his neck, where they come to a stop a pale ridge voyages from his back to ¾’s of his tail. His tongue is black, and furthermore, his blood is dark blue while he has a medium-gold wing membrane.

Personality
Hourglass is exceptionally a little rough around the edges but with good reason. He has little time to worry over others petty insecurities and small jealousies, fretting over only the balance in time. He neither walks around sympathizing with every little thing that happens in someone’s life nor is he even a little forgiving of the wrong you do him. It takes deep thought, and fathomless wonders to contravent his emotions and grab his attention provided that you have formidable reasons for him to empathize with you. If he’s made up his mind, he’s made up his mind… There are no why, ands, buts or what if’s about it with the exception of a well-structured argument or statement on why an action should or should not be taken. Conversely, he is a distinctly explicit dragon who stays within reason of what is over the top and what is or does come with a consequence when required of him in order to succor the tribes continuously prosper without interruptance between the balance of harmony and warfare.

Abilities
Hourglass has the capability to balance time and keep peace between light and darkness, assembling each so that one is never more powerful than the other. He has the ordinance to decide the death and circumstance of each dragon and he knows the hour in which each will pass. He however, cannot make change to past events but is still able to on rare occasions, when necessary alter the events of future timelines in order to avoid blight and elimination of the Pyrrhian and Pantala tribes all while maintaining the balance of life and death. The scorpion-like barb on the end of his tail, unlike most, does not strike to kill and instead will only put its chosen victim to sleep and they will wake up later in time depending on the amount of venom injected. His frost-breath is also a bit different from the normal tribal ability of an IceWing and when exhaled, if it hits its mark will forever freeze whatever it touches in time.

Relationships
Ethe
Ex-Mate: Negative
Glass once loved her with everything that he was but when she defied him, he exiled her to the realm of eternal conflagration for treason. Before her exile they had a carefree love-life and he felt he could be himself around her. She was the one dragon he trusted and when she broke that trust he felt his whole world come crashing down. He never loved the same after that, but in time her memory did fade and all that is left of it is an empty hole in his heart.
Mirage
Lover: Positive
Upon meeting the princess Hourglass felt an unfathomable correspondence to her, and over time love began to flourish between them. Sadly, she was mortal and as all mortals do she became well-advanced in years and passed away twelve days before her 115th hatching day but while alive she seemed to affect Glass in ways that caused him to come off as a more calm and gentle dragon whenever she was around.

History
Once thought a myth until Princess Mirage learned of his existence on one of his visits to the mainland, Hourglass lives on an island off the coast of the Ice Kingdom, where he records and tracks current events happening throughout history. He is the last timekeeper in existence. However, there used to be others like him before the era of scorching. Nevertheless, they fought and brawled like babies unto order could not be restored. So something had to be done about it, and he took it upon himself to do so. With help from his ex-mate Eshe, he was able to banish the others to the realm of internal suffering. Together, they divided the Earth into two landmasses and hence the presence of the second continent known as Pantala. All was good for a while. But it happened that his mate Eshe had a secret, and she was with egg. It happened that when Hourglass learned of this, he became agitated and instructed her to kill it. For fear that if she did not, and because she did not want to spill the blood of a legacy, she took it on the run. But Hourglass tracked her down and trapped her, apprising her that the dragonet would not be martyred for its existence but rather wiped clean of its inheritance and the power it possessed and forced to live among mortals. When Ethe denied him for a second time, he wrestled the egg from her and exiled her to the realm of despair, and froze the egg in time. Later in life, while on a visit to the mainland in order to retrieve some parcels from an Animus, he was discovered by the IceWing Princess Mirage (as introduced at the start of the story), who allowed curiosity to get the better of her while in search of the long lost isle of Cadence. Excited by her discovery, she retrieved her brother to come to meet him. Hourglass was more than happy to answer questions and come back and visit them. Upon meeting the princess Hourglass had felt an unfathomable correspondence to her, and overtime love began to flourish between them.
